Centex Crime Stoppers can use your help in solving an Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle. On December 24th, 2025, at approximately 5:47 P.M., in the area of Sonic (1910 E. Main St., Gatesville, TX 76528) a Silver Kia Telluride is struck from behind by a gold/gray in color SUV, which is possibly a Ford Escape, Buick Enclave, or Lincoln based on the body style.
Video survivance shows the suspect vehicle stops in the roadway, the driver gets out looking at the front of his vehicle, and appears to be on the phone. Only a portion of the suspect is visible, and he appears to be a younger white or Hispanic male with dark colored hair. Suspect is wearing a white shirt, however his pants are not visible, because he never fully steps to the front of the car.

Centex Crime Stoppers can use your help in solving a case of Theft. On April 24th , 2025, at approximately 1:06 P.M., an unknown subject walked into Walmart (2805 South State Highway 36, Gatesville, TX 76528), and stole approximately $378.93 worth of merchandise.
Video survivance shows the unknown white female, approximately 36 to 50 years of age, large build between 5’3’ and 5’9” in height. The unknown female subject is observed selecting miscellaneous infant clothing items from the infant department and placing it in the shopping cart. The unknown female subject is also observed selecting items in the automotive section and went through the garden center self-checkout to ring up merchandise in the shopping cart. The video survivance shows the unknown female subject not ring up the infant clothing but rang up the merchandise which was selected in the automotive section.

Centex Crime Stoppers – Crime of the Week 10/20/2025
Centex Crime Stoppers can use your help in solving a case of Theft. On Friday, October 17th, 2025, at approximately 10:35 A.M., an unknown subject walked into Walmart (2805 South State Highway 36, Gatesville, TX 76528), and stole approximately $398.00 worth of merchandise.
Video survivance shows the unknown white male, unknown age, slender build between 5’3’ and 5’9” with noticeable arm tattoos; selected a crossbow from a shelf and removed the spider device (electronic article security) from the packaging and then the male subject placed a cheaper price tag on the packaging.

Centex Crime Stoppers can use your help in solving a case of Burglary of a Building. On Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at approximately 3:48 A.M., two unknown subjects made forced entry to Somewhere Else Bar (3109 South State Highway 36, Gatesville, TX 76528), and attempted to break into the ATM.
Video survivance shows two subjects in light colored hoodies, masks, and gloves who could be seen getting out of what appears to be a black in color Chevy Trax. One subject opened the trunk of the vehicle. The two subjects then entered the building after using a crowbar to break the dead bolt lock on the front door. The two subjects can be seen going straight for the ATM, pulling on it, breaking open the front panel door, then one of the subject walks away while the other continues to mess with the ATM. The subjects then left shortly after, without any money.
The vehicle appeared to be dirty, with a heart drawn into the dirt on the back passenger side of the vehicle. Damage was done to the front door/dead bolt and the front panel door of the ATM.

On Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, the Coryell County Attorney’s Office’s Environmental Compliance Officer was notified of illegally dumping hazardous material on Texas Highway 236 at the Leon River. Upon arrival 11 cylinders containing R22 and R44B refrigerant were located.
If anyone with information on where these bottles originated from or who the bottles were dumped by is asked to contact SGT J. Gasaway at 254-865-7201 EXT 515. Centex Crime Stoppers – Crime of the Week 02/07/2025
Centex Crime Stoppers can use your help in solving a case of Burglary of Building. On Sunday, January 19th, 2025, at approximately 4:19 AM, Two unknown male subjects made forced entry to the Gatesville Food Mart (2603 E Main Street, Gatesville, TX 76528), depriving the store of over 30k worth of cigarettes and cash. Video survivance shows two male subjects standing at 6’02” and 5’10” using a 35” Collins Gooseneck Wrecking Bar and a Milwaukee Bolt cutter to enter the premises.
Once inside, both subjects are observed to be concealing their face using a black Balaclava Ski Mask. The larger frame subject is described to be approximately 5’10” black male wearing a black hooded jacket and blue sweatpants along with black tennis shoes. The second subject is described as an approximately 6’02” black male wearing an inside-out brown sweatshirt and inside-out gray sweatpants. The most noticeable on the subject is the Black and White Nike Men’s Air Force 1 “07 Lv8 shoes.
